The Partnership kicked off 2008 by participating in the 2008
Springfield-Branson Regional Salute to Legislators event held in Jefferson City, Missouri. This event helps send a unified message to our state legislators on issues that affect the 10-county region. In an effort to continue our commitment to sustainability, the Partnership will have a booth on display at the Ozarks New Energy Conference. This Conference will explore opportunities to grow and apply new fuel technologies right here in the Ozarks. The Conference will be held February 22-23 at several venues in downtown Springfield. P4PII began in 2007 with the goal to raise $2.75 million over the next five years to help fund economic development programs like the Ozarks Regional Economic Partnership.
